overly confident?

I took NCLEX-PN in 2002 stopped at 85. I felt I blew it. I felt I failed myself and my family.I knew I failed. I was getting ready to find a CNA job or any kind of job out there to help out my DH. Got the letter 'PASSED'. Whew!!YES! Unbelievable!

Worked Med/Surg and ER for 3 years.

Took the NCLEX-RN today stopped at 85. I felt I did okay.I really think I did okay. I felt somewhat confident of passing. A totally different feeling than I did post NCLEX-PN. I felt better coming out of the test center today than I did in 2002. I found having LVN Med/Surg/ER experience helped a lot. Should I not be confident?? I'm not saying I answered all the questions correctly I already know off hand I got 5 wrong answers. But if I think I did good then why didn't I stopped at 75 right?? So I didn't do that good then???

Good for you! I wish I had felt confident when I walked out of there. To tell you the truth there were some of my classmates that said when they walked out of there they though it was WAY easier than they expected.

You probably did good, just that you can never be certain and the doubt (scary doubt) is in the back of your brain. Let us know how it went. Good luck. :)
