Order of certifications

Do you put your certifications in order of importance or by date? I have a lot of CPR type certifications (i.e. NRP, ACLS, STABLE, ect) but I also have my Inpatient OB certification. I have updated my NRP since becoming OB certified, so if I do it by date my NRP would appear before my OB certification...but NRP is a basic certification that everyone has to have, while my OB certification is specialized...like CCRN

    It would be HeartsOpenWide RN, CCRN. There is no need for the use of degrees or other initials such as ACLS, TNCC, or NRP in the hospital setting.

    Sorry, what I meant was on my resume under the "Certifications" heading, (i.e "Education" then list all your colleges and degrees received, "Licensing" list... "community work" list...

    Not the alphabet soap behind my name.
