Well, honestly, eversince i was a nursing student i like what they're doing in OR, it's like being comfortable with the environment, and i'm amazed by the different procedures/operations...aside from knowledge and skills that you can gain from it. Should i plainly tell that? I dont know if that is really acceptable...

Honesty is the best policy.

Good luck to you!

Sounds like a perfect answer to me.

If were in charge of hiring, I would want a nurse who can handle tons of stress and emotional abuse. I'd want someone who can competently juggle 10 tasks at once.

this is really challenging part... but i love doing the juggling thing.. hehe... thanks again for helping :)

I also feel the same way that you answered. However, out of all of the possible areas of nursing to work, working as a team is the most important. You have to assess whether you are a team player, what being a team player means to you, and how you will contribute to a team...what do you offer to the team...and you have a lot even if you have never worked in an OR before. And also think about who YOUR team will be...not just other nurses of course. You also have to think about how you will be able to learn to anticipate the needs of the other team members. Is that something you can learn? And how do you deal with conflict? Conflicts with other team members WILL arise...what scenarios can you think of that you may encounter and how will you deal with them?

Good luck!
