OR circulating vs pre/pacu?

I have been offered position in the operating room at a small community hospital and a preop/pacu position at a larger hospital. My background is primarily OB nursing with a few months of med/surg. Any input from OR or PACU nurses? Both of them require same amount of call (1 night a week and every 6th weekend) thanks for any input

OR and preop/PACU are very different. Which one appeals to you more?

I think the OR probably. The few times I had clinicals as well as have shadowed recently I could always picture myself in the role. Something exciting about workflow of the operating room. I sometimes worry that I don't have the "thick skin" people mention you need for the OR. (And the cold temps, I am always freezing :)). Have you worked both of these units before?
