Options of becoming an RN

I plan on getting my LPN certificate soon and i was wondering which program would be faster to become an RN. Would it be quicker to take the LPN to RN(Associates) and then RN to BSN or would it be faster to go from LPN to a BSN program? Are there programs that offer BSN programs for LPNS? I already have a bachelors degree, hence i have alot of pre reqs already. Is it possible for me to go from being an LPN to getting a bachelors RN? If so how long would that program be?

Because I work as a CNA and I see SO many LPN's who stop going to school because they are busy with work and since they make decent money they never go back to school. Plus you must have a supervising RN around anyways...its a waste of a year that you could be retaking some of your old classes that you didn't do so well in....just retake some of those classes that lowered your gpa and apply to some ABSN programs and even some BSN programs so that you can get started!

thank you for the suggestion slinkyheadCNA i'll keep that in mind. You present some good points but i am determined to go from LPN to BSN right away after i get my certificate or maybe work for a little bit and then go to the bachelors degree because my dream is to be a NP and im not stopping til then but i will definitely keep that in mind what you just told me.
