opthalmology

Published

hello. i want to specialized in opthalmology..what do you suggest trainings that i should undergo?

You need a good general surgery background first. Where I work preference is given to nurses with a minimum two years surgical experience. Then it's all on the job training.

i saw an opthalmic support staff course.which covers glaucoma surgery cataract surgery retina module and many more.do you think it's a good start?

hahaha.yes ma'am thank you though for helping me yesterday..:)

My point is that it's really had to give you answers when the information is vague, and we are strangers :)

Is this an aide/tech position? A nurse? or are you a very young doctor? :)

i'm a nurse ma'am.

Specializes in pedies and er.

ouch ma'aam. too funny.

i'm just being polite :)

Just FYI, it's spelled ophthalmology. I actually got a job in an ophthalmology department based partly on being the only candidate that spelled the name correctly - it's a very common mistake. ;)

ooops.sorry :) what are the trainings that you have undergone?

i'm just being polite :)

It's ok. :)

That's how I took it
