ONP extra clinical practice

I doubt it but really only way to know is ask.

I was told by my ONP professor that nearly everyone from the "Old Commonwealth Countries" (lol...I guess the USA is an old commowealth country technically), i.e. Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA only does the 20 day course.

The other course I'm nearly certain that you're not paid because you have to pay them in order to let them precept you...from what the class said. Probably you'll be paid for a hospital orientation once you get a job though.

You have to do at least 3 month overseas nursing program course. They do not pay now a days, but i know they used to pay in the past. They are not going to pay any more. Even its very hard to get unpaid placement of overseas nursing program. Be well prepared, send them email and letter. You will finally get it, but it is not easy at all.

Thanks. Other people I know of who have gone over have not had to do extra placement, but its a thought at the back of your head!

If I do, I just wont go through with the registration and will do other work instead. Its not the end of the world, after all, I will be going over to have fun and travel.

What? I'm a little confused...I didn't say that Filipina/os didn't take the ONP, but that folks from the other countries listed generally don't need to do the 3 month placement. As to the likelihood of Filipina/os taking the ONP, I have no idea and wasn't commenting to that effect.
