online rn-bsn

Hi was wondering what people's experience with this online program was. I am currently in my last year of an adn program in New York an was looking for an online bsn program to start right after. I have a bachelors degree in sociology and was wondering if Ohio's program accepted most transfer credits? and also how long the program takes. and if there is a clinical along with it. any info would be great

Jennifer_58 OU accepted almost all my transfer credits, in fact they accepted all of them and some were 30 years old.I am in NY also but do not know if they are accepting New York students anymore. Try to get some experience under your belt as a lot of the classes have to do with your work etc. Not all but in my opinion it helps. Classes not bad but are 5 weeks and fast paced. I started in Feb and will finish next march or april and will have taken 15 classes in 14 months! Good luck with whatever you decide!

I have a previous bachelors degree along with my ADN and all of my transfer credits were accepted. So I only have to complete the 9 nursing courses and a junior comp class which can only be taken at OU. So I made out pretty good.

But like the previous poster said, they only accept students from the surrounding states (MI, IN, KY, and WV). It was recently changed.
