Online NP program

I'm looking for online or part-time NP Program. I'm in Dallas,TX. Please help!

Hi there,

There are so many online MSN- NP programs. I am also near Dallas,TX and started MSN NP program online (Parttime) at Purdue University Calumet, Indiana because I did my BSN from there. So it depends what and where you want to do? There is one here in UT Tyler too. Just inquire around, you will be able to find one that fits best for you.

Good luck.

Here is the web site for Purdue

www.calumet.purdue.edu and you can call or e mail them for more info if you want to.

I just got accepted to a nursing program that includes an online MSN-NP portion. I was a bit skeptical at first because this isn't the traditional route.

What is your opinion on this style of learning vs. the more traditional classroom approach? Do you think that a future employer would see a difference?

I'm just looking to find out all the information I can about how successful online graduates are once they enter the work force.

ZooGirl,

Which program you got accepted?

I was accepted to the Western University of Health Sciences program (i'm not sure where you're from, but WesternU is in California).

It's a program for non-RNs with a non-nursing degree. So in the program I'll get my RN and then jump right into a master's program to become an FNP (the master's portion is the part that's done online).

Specializes in ICU, PICC Nurse, Nursing Supervisor.

good for you...i'm glad to see ya moving forward ...have you looked into utmb they have a online np program..that's where i'm headed after the cpne to get my bsn then np...good luck
