Online FNP program??

Ok experienced NP’s, I need some advice! Is it harder to take the FNP program online? I am having a hard time making the decision because I really enjoy the classroom atmosphere!

If you really enjoy the classroom atmosphere why would you consider going online for NP school?

I am factoring in my current job and if online may be a better fit, also I have researched a few online programs that are more cost efficient and can be finished in a quicker time frame.

My two cents: you are investing in the foundation of your practice as a provider. This foundation is incredibly important because in your first years in clinical practice you are going to have to build extensively on it. If you are making this investment, do so with the highest quality program you can.

Cheap, fast, and easy is rarely a good investment or a good foundation. If you can find a better quality online program then what is available to you locally that might be a good reason to look online.
