online bsn programs

Hi,

I am a recent graduate with a bachelors in biology. I want to become a nurse now. That being said I have done some research and I know that having a previous bachelor degree, the better option for me is get a bsn. I have seen options for online bsn programs. Does anyone have any thoughts about these programs or does anyone have any suggestions to what they would do in this situation? Thank you :)

Most online BSN programs are transition for currently licensed RNs

There are some places that allow you to get the BSN as a second degree and give you credit, but from the research I did they are mostly brick and mortar locations but many do have hybrid, which is to say that you have some online classes, or theory and you do lab and clinical in person. I do not know of any just straight BSN online degrees. They are all RN-BSN, which like the previous poster said is for people who already have their RN. I too have a biology degree as my first degree, and it will help you with knowing why the disease process is happening and the chemistry will help you tremendously with pharmacology.
