Hello Everybody!
I am looking at relocating into the Orlando, FL area. I have been a RN for 3 years and I BLS/ACLS cert, I recover open hearts, run IABPs, CRRT, Vents, ect.. that you would see in a CCU/CVICU. I was am looking for a PRN/Per diem/part time postion, probably 2x 12s a week. Any idea if this something I will have problems getting? What kind of pay should I expect? Which hospitals do you recommend? What areas are great for housing/good schools. Sorry for all the questions :-)

I live in Ft Lauderdale, FL. As a per-diem ICU nurse, I would say don't expect more than $32-38/hr. I'm not sure how the job market is in the Orlando area. However, Florida Hospital is always sending me emails. Good luck.

My agency pays 35/hr. Problem was I was getting called off alot so I signed a contract as a traveler. I live >50 miles away from the hospital. I am still getting 35/hour but that is very good for Fl in this market.
