I've officially enrolled at EC after debating whether to do Isu or EC for over a year. My new job at a local hospital does not require BSN to work as a RN so I'm going with EC as I work nights and I'm doing the credit by exam program. I passed AP in September while I was deciding which route to go. So now I'm studying for my micro test late Jan. 2016. Any advice? I'm motivated and ready for the challenge this next year :)

Just hammer away at the credits , they will come quickly. Just don't get distracted and put excelsior on the back burner.

I've completed all my general Ed through excelsior by exam and phase 1 of nursing exams. I'm currently studying for reproductive health and then I'm on to the 3 lifespans. It's been a long journey. I could have been finished but I kept getting distracted. I enrolled March 2014. Hopefully I can finish by jan 8 & register late for the fcca!

Congrats on starting your journey! My friend and I both started EC in the fall. We had all of our prereqs done at a local community college before starting so all we have are the nursing classes. We both have hospital experience as LPNs so hoping the tests both clinical and computer come easier. Currently we are studying for foundations we took Health Safety in December and passed. It's alot of work but I we are ready to be RNs!

The best advice I can offer is to work at a pace that best suits you. Don't ever use another individual's successes or failures as a guide for you. We all have our own areas of strengths. Lastly, remember that you CAN do this
