Hello,
I am fairly new here, (longtime lurker and all that), I was just wondering about the moderation of posting.
I recently responded to a post and after I submitted, I received a pop-up that my post will be, well...posted :) after being approved by a moderator. I haven't seen this before and I was just curious about it. Is it random? Did I post something dubious? Was it because it was the first reply, or maybe because of the topic (involving a past crime)?
Any ideas?

Posts in certain forums (fora?) are reviewed by a moderator before becoming visible. It's not you personally, or your post in particular. :)
Awesome, thanks! I did assume that but I had the little niggling voice in the back of my head ...."Maybe it was you....." :)
Thanks again!

No, it's not you. Allnurses has a few moderated forums; you probably posted in the Nursing Licensure With A Criminal History forum, in which all posts have to be read and approved by staff before being visible on the boards. Don't feel bad; I've been here almost 10 years and had forgotten this myself recently, when I went to post something in that forum and got the same little pop-up you did. First thought was "OMG, what did I do??" Second thought was "Oh yeah, moderated forum". It happens.
