Objective Statement for Resume

Hi all,

I have searched under resume on the site here and couldn't find an answer, so I'm hoping someone can help. I am transferring from a large metropolitan hospital to a small community hospital (within the same company), and I can't figure out how to phrase my objective statement. I currently work in an extremely busy ICU, and am applying to ICU and ER in the new hospital. How general to I make this statement? Something like "RN looking for experience in community ICU/ER?" Any help would be appreciated!

Greetings,

I think rather than just saying what you're looking for, write a brief description that includes what you have to offer.

For example: RN with X years of experience in a busy ICU seeks to use my skills in a community ICU/ER

A lot of resumes skip the objective line altogether, and address objectives and experience in a more detailed cover letter.

Regards,

Tom
