Hi everyone! i'm new to this site and am reallyyyyyyyyy happy that i found it. ive already learned so much information and am really encouraged by all the enthusiasm and support people offer here.
i was just wondering if anyone had information on the 15-month accelerated program at NYU?
Like how hard the program is to get into, how hard it is once you are accepted, etc.
I am currently an undergrad student UCSD and will be finishing up by the end of 2008. I am a political science major however, so i have been taking most of my prereqs for nursing school at a local junior college.
I plan on taking most of my prereqs at Goldenwest College in OC as they dont require a lot of prereqs for the classes I need to take = less school = the faster i can apply.
I'm just wondering the general stats of GPA, experience/jobs and such.
ANY INFORMATION will be helpful!
thank you SOOO much everyone!

I don't know about the NYU program specifically but after applying to one in Ohio (I have a BS already) found that they are highly selective, and even having all the qualifications they wanted, still got overlooked. I have no healthcare experience other than real life with family, so maybe having an undergrad degree and healthcare experience? Wish you well....
thanks for the info!
wow i figured it would be easier w/a BS....(i have a BA)
i also heard that a lot of schools have ot be selective because there are not enough instructors to teach in the programs... =/
