Hi everyone!
I'm currently in the process of finishing up my prereqs before I start applying to programs [most likely at the end of this year], but I realized that I have fulfilled prerequisites for a few ABSN programs already - including NYU's Accelerated Second Bachelors degree program.
I was just wondering if anyone else was applying to NYU and whether anyone has any info as to what the statistics are/acceptance rates?
I know that there isn't an official minimum GPA [or at least, it doesn't say so on their site] and I know that you need a minimum of a C for all your prereq classes.
But having actual knowledge of average GPA/prereq grades and stuff would REALLY be helpful in me determining if I would even have a chance!
Thanks for the input!! Is anyone else applying to NYU or getting ready to apply soon???:redpinkhe

I am also thinking about applying to the ABSN program at NYU. I would be very interested if anyone had any information about the average gpa. Also, does anyone know how much taking a few online classes would hurt my chances of getting accepted? It says something about it on the website but I was wondering if any one had some actual insight on this. Thanks!

I actually already submitted my application for NYU for Fall 2010. I wanted to get it done early because it's my #1. I am currently finishing up Anatomy & Physiology II this semester, and I've completed all other pre-reqs. I don't have any information about average gpa, etc but considering that i'm an out of state student I found the videos of a past open house very helpful when applying. here is the link to the 3 videos they have available:

hope that helps.
