NYU ABSN FALL 2016 Program

Hi!

I have also applied to NYU. I am waiting for them to check off that they have received my transcripts. I sent them out in like January so I'm getting nervous they haven't received them somehow. My other school that I applied to had received them so I don't know. I will be calling them probably next week to double check.

I actually personally brought my Letter of recommendations in and I submitted my application by the end of January . My transcripts have been checked off . I am currently just waiting for a reply . I still have Mircrobiology and nutrition to take , which I am taking currently . It should show up soon the check marks for the transcripts .

I hope they inform us of decision soon ahh! NYU is my#1 school right now. What's your GPA? Do you have healthcare experience ?

GPA is 3.58, prerequisite GPA is 3.9. I volunteered in a hospital and I also work for one , I will make 2 years soon. What about you ?

By the time I graduate (May) i will have around an overall 3.1 and I'm still doing my pre-reqs so I'm not too sure yet. I'm an EMT, volunteered in 2 hospitals, volunteered abroad, and worked in a Dr office for 4 years. Blah I am hoping my experience will balance out my low GPA

With that experience you have a better chance then me . Your experience is invaluable .

Thanks so much but there are so many people with higher GPA, NYU is more hollistic and they look at more factors then GPA , good luck though . Hope we both get into the program .

I was wondering if anyone went on Albert and realized that under financial aid, there is information saying aid year 2017, institution New York University; aid description, says no financial aid data available, or no award data available? If you all do, what do you think this means?

I see that too , but I haven't heard anything yet . I'm hoping we begin hearing something by April , I read on some forums that they started hearing first tuesday of April .

Is it the official date? I can't find that on their school website! Only thing I saw was on Albert, says 3/31 5pm

I just called the office,I was told decisions will start to be sent out on April 15th until June 15th ah!
