NYC DOE program 2013-2014?

Hi! I'm about to register for the NYC DOE LPN program for the testing cycle of 2013-2014. Could someone who has graduated or attended the program PLEASE give me some advice? Is this program really worth it? Is this program only 1 year, as C-NET says it is? I'm 20, so I graduated HS only 2 years ago. Will I have a hard time with the entrance exams? How does the employment situation look afterward? Please! I would greatly appreciate any assistance! Thanks so much! :bag:

    I have been interviewed and received an admission letter. However, my admission letter said it would include a textbook list. I didn't receive one. Have you? Where will you be attending?

    I received the acceptance letter, but not the book list. Where did you find the majority of your books? Did you get that email that said we can't get used books? Do you think you could send me the list via email?

    When you register they give you a book list .... it wasnt attached to acceptance letter and yes ms ******** was adament about not using used books

    No I will not be working. I am lucky to have a supportive family.... I actually just registered today I have been comparison shopping for best deals probably make a choice by end of the week
