NYC BMCC 2020

Hi everyone,

Wondering if anyone here is applying or has applied for Spring 2020 at BMCC. If so, are you scheduled to take the Kaplan test already?

    Hi, I recently dropped off the admission checklist for Spring 2020... I haven't heard back but again I dropped it off only about a week ago and I know this is a busy time. Did you ask anyone there when we could expect to hear back?

    @brooks0309 Not sure. I'm going to the nursing dept. this Thurs. and see the process. Haven't submitted anything as yet for review of application so not sure of the timeframe.

    Me too! I'm so nervous. That writing portion was something though -_-… lol She said she will call/email towards the end of December for those that got in. Will def. update if I get an email. :)

    We were told in the beginning to expect the emails at the end of this week and then at the end of December, makes me so nervous. I wish we are done already!

    I didn’t enjoy the science section on the test though, lol ?

    I have a gpa of 4 in both prerequisites and overall and I got 85% in Kaplan. How about you?

    @bookish_RN that’s awesome!!! CONGRATULATIONS IN ADVANCE!! I know that you all will get in!!! I’m transferring to a 4 year after I graduate in the Spring. So excited for you all to begin your nursing journey. I’m still torn a tad between Bmcc and the 4 year but I think I know what my heart is leading towards.

    I’ve been following this thread but I’ve never commented so I just thought I’d share. I was accepted to BMMC’s evening/weekend program for Spring 2020!!!!! I received a call yesterday.
    Kaplan Score: 87 Prerequisite GPA: 3.5
