  1. Do you feel most prepared when you took it? Was that your first time taking it @student765? Is this the only program you applied to? So sorry for all the questions *Did sorry for the typo
  2. If you don't mind me asking what resources did you use to study for the TEAS exam? What was your score? @Student765
  3. Hey, I didn't apply. I don't think any student would hear back until December, but I am not sure. What about you?
  4. Hey how are you? What did you as a TEAS resource to score a 76?
  5. To subjoin to my post above, I don’t recall asking the group for advisement with classes nor general advice. I’m certain my questions in the last paragraph of my original post were directed toward inquiring the interest and direction of others along the journey.
  6. With all due respect, did you not see that I mentioned how I’m retaking 3 science courses in the third paragraph or were you ready to focus on the pejorative aspects of what I divulged? ???? CHEM 122 was not apart of the PCI calculation for the day program when I applied. Nor is it a requirement for an Associate degree in Nursing at BMCC. Chem 122 was a required class for me to finish in order to complete my Associate in Science degree this past Summer semester at BMCC. Aforementioned in my previous post, I’ve made the decision to start at my new senior school (in the Spring) which I was accepted to earlier this year, but I was still indecisive about what direction I wanted to go. I’M RETAKING 3 SCIENCE COURSES THIS SEMESTER (OF COURSE CHEM 122 INCLUDED) in order to increase my likely hood to be accepted to the BSN program in May.
  7. What are you inferring? An inquiring mind would like to know. ?
  8. Good morning dear, did the nursing department ever email you back in regards to the HESI2 exam?
  9. Hey beautiful ones! I AM SUPER PROUD OF YOU WARRIORS FOR STICKING IT OUT‼️‼️??❤️ I am in the same situation however I’m in my 20’s and I have a little one. AGE DOESN’T MATTER YOUR LEVEL OF DETERMINATION, WILL, AND AMBITION DOES! I was a transfer student (transferred to BMCC Fall of 2018) I received an A in MAT 104, B in AP1, B- in AP2, A- in CHEM 121, B- in ENG (I took 10 years ago), and an A in PSY 100. This was my second time getting rejected (for Spring 2020 and FALL 2020) I failed the Kaplan last year and this year my GPA didn’t qualify me a spot but my bestie got in PRAISE GOD ????❤️❤️❤️????????!! Those science grades weigh heavier than any other class literally and figuratively speaking. The science grades are 4 credits courses and the other pre-reqs are only 3 credit courses. Due to the competitive nature of 99.9% Nursing programs they set the bar high. Cumulative GPA matters as much as Science GPA. I made the semi tough decision to retake 3 science courses this semester at BMCC. I am retaking AP1, AP2, and CHEM 122 (I took it this Summer and received a C-). Fortunately I officially graduated last month yay!!??? However I’m torn between starting at a new school (I applied in Feb and was accepted in March) or staying with BMCC to see if I could get into the Spring 2021 program. I leaning more toward leaving to start the Bachelors program at the new school. Every other subject I have an A or A- from BMCC. Have you ladies decided which next step you’re going to take for the FALL and Spring SEMESTER? What will you do different this semester to change or increase your chances for getting next go round?
  10. You can say that again! According to policy they cannot allow us in at this point. I don’t believe our opportunity diminishes as a result. Have you contacted the nursing advisor? Did you graduate from BMCC or are you taking your last class currently? I graduate next week so that’s what deactivated me in the system for FALL.
  11. I’m in the same boat as you! I wonder does that cancel our chances or will we hear back later on after we become term verified. What was your GPA (if you don’t mind me asking)? Did you receive the email??
  12. I’m certain that after the acceptance announcement (NOT FROM BMCC) was posted by a fellow member quite a few people contacted the nursing advisor via email (which they stated specifically not for ANYONE to do due to an overwhelming volume of emails last month) then so kindly and patiently gave us an acceptance date with details. A blessing in disguise nonetheless. I’m unsure if the timing or pressure was right. Out of respect, I believe most of didn’t want to ruffle any feathers post email. Congratulations @Nursewannabe to your acceptance to Saint Paul’s nursing program!?? Praying for a successful and awarding journey for you! ? -BEST REGARDS BMCC FALL 2020 APPLICANTS: How are you all feeling after receiving the official acceptance date?
  13. Thank you, so I’m not the only that thinks something is not right. I feel a tad wrong for questioning an individuals credibility, but something seems a tad off. ??
  14. In addition you said (@nursewannabe) that you had to take BIO 425 in the Summer. I didn’t know that we could apply if we didn’t complete BIO 425, unless you took the course already. Forgive me if I misconstrued the information given in the thread from the past. You said that you applied on to the Nursing program on May 25TH after the May 1st deadline. I was unaware that there was a number to the admissions director, I assumed they were all still working remotely. ?
  15. CONGRATULATIONS THAT IS SO AMAZING!???? THE BEST OF BLESSINGS TO YOU LOVE! WE ARE GOING TO BE GREAT NURSES!❤️❤️??
