NY ATT

Any fellow New Yorkers out there who recently received Authorization to test? I feel like I have been waiting forever!! If anyone can share how long it took to get their ATT, I would appreciate it.

Also, is a photo required with the Nclex application? I looked over that paperwork 10x before I mailed it in to see if a photo was required, and did not see anything on the form. Just reading over my schools forms, and it mentions a photo. I hope not, I would hate to wait all this time, and have the forms sent back "incomplete"..

Really want to take this test asap, it seems like it has been looming forever!! :rolleyes:

the thing is ny state board gives u eligibility to test.then pearson vue sends u ur att.i had to wait a long time before the board of nursing replied me.any ways i got mine a week ago.and for the id thing i did not send mine to them.just wait a little longer ull get ur eligibility to test.they say is kinda slow during this time of the year.

When I mailed my application to NY in June they required a passport sized photo be attached to the application. There was a box for it at the top right corner.

I mailed my application to Albany on June 9th, paid my Pearson Vue fee on June 28th and received my ATT on June 30th.

I"m still waiting too and it's killing me!!! I called the Licensing Board twice this week and they still don't have a record of my school sending in my credentials (Form 2) which they said they sent in! The woman initially told me maybe they'd get to it in a week, but when I called later that week she said 6 weeks because they have a back log of 10,000 applicants. Can't they hire some temp workers or let us take the exam now and get all their ducks in a row later?

Ack! I have an interview hinging on my passing boards and NO ONE will even look at my resume in this city until it says RN on it. All this waiting is really hampering my study plan.

Ps- I saw nothing about a photo either and just double checked the form. The upper right box says "for office use only" nothing about passport photo..phew!

Mrock I'd advice u to be patient with them but always call every once in a while to check up with them I was in the same boat as you but I'm glad to say i took the test and i passed.so hold on everything will be fine.FYI they don't need your photo I'd.

Finally got my ATT, and scheduled the test right away. They did not need the photo (I called), so covered there. Called every 10 days or so, and one lady pushed it through for me, loving her.

I PASSED the nclex, now I can finally start sending out my resumes
