Yeah I understand, it’s a little hard to follow at times or a little hard to know how to study for her tests but I do like her. At least I don’t dread the class so that’s a plus! I managed straight As last semester so I was hoping for the same this semester, not sure I’ll be able to accomplish it. I’m also retaking A&P 1 with McArthur because I took it 10 years ago and I wanted a refresher. His way of teaching A&P is very different and I love it.

I loved Dr. McArthur! I had him for three classes, including Anatomy 2 last semester. He truly is an amazing teacher. Also I heard from one of my nursing friends that the books for the first semester are about $800. Al best start saving now guys

I heard uniforms were about $350. But that varies from where you buy your pant scrubs and your shoes. But I heard Lulus is good for the pants, but the shirt has to come from northwest because of the patches. And you know Northwest is overly expensive with stuff?

I feel like we all will since we’re all above 100 points!! Hopefully we all see each other at the orientation LOL

I agree! I think we have a great chance! Are you in Microbiology right now?

@RxSuccess yes I am! My class is having the first lab exam this Tuesday! Nerve wracking and exciting at the same time. Have you taken micro yet?

@Monami_mnm I am in right now too. My class is M W we have lab test Wednesday. I am finding this class very challenging.

@RxSuccess ooh! I’m having a hard time with how she does her lectures in the beginning because it was longer.. but I think now that the chapters are getting shorter, I’d be OK. Tbh I’d be fine with a B. I had a hard time with the gram stain last lab I wasn’t seeing the results—this makes me a little worried for the unknowns. Is micro the only class you’re taking for pre-nursing?

@Monami_mnm I also have A & P 2, Spanish and Intro to Religions What about you?

@RxSuccess I’m doing an audit for A&P 1 with McArthur because I really liked him when I took A&P 2 & the teacher I took A&P 1 with wasn’t very good. I’m taking ASL 2, American history, philosophy and then micro. Have you taken any of your college math yet? Also who do you have for A&P?

Don’t even worry about the unknowns! They’re easier than you think! I promise you’ll know everything you need to know when they come! I loved doing the unknowns, it was actually pretty interesting and a little fun. For your lab exam, be VERY, I REPEAT, VERY SPECIFIC. She will take off points if your not. There was a question about some technique and I said “put the rod in the blue cone” and she took a point off because I didn’t say “the inner blue cone” so be very specific about that!
