nursys/license

Hi everyone,

I currently passed my NCLEX-RN on November 29th! I was so excited and happy!!!! I still am. However I still did not obtain my license in the mail. Right after passing boards I was issued a license number. However i have waited already about 7 business days and still no license in the mail.

Also I went on NURSYS and my info still hasn't been updated. It is on the PA BON website however. Will this take a little more time? Am I just too over anxious? Or should i call the BON first thing in the morning. I am eager to start submitting my resume and finding a job. Please if anyone has been in this boat, please let me know! Your feedback is greatly appreciated!

I don't know about your state but in Washington we don't use paper licensing. It's all online. Your future employer is going to check your state licensure as well as nursys for your credentialing anyways.

I wouldn't bother the BON for that sort of thing, they are busy micromanaging other important nursing business ;) haha.

Congratulations!
