Nursing and tattoos

I'm not sure if this goes here but I have some questions for some working nurses.

Are tattoos tolerated? I know it depends on the institute, but I'm curious to k ow your experiences, I have a small wrist tattoo and I hate to think that it might hurt my chances of getting a job in the future.

Advice? Experiences?
