I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share why they plan on entering the Nursing field. As for myself, I have been in the healthcare field all my life. I have a host of aunties & cousins who are nurses as well. I wanted to be a Doctor as a young kid & then nursing was all I could think about. In 2002, a year after getting married, my husband & I lost our 2nd son due to respiratory failure. During this time I was introduced to the respiratory field & became a Respiratory Therapist. I would love to hear from others as well. Good luck to you all & May you all be blessed tremendously & abundantly.

I'm pursuing nursing because of aware of how amazingly multifaceted it is. I consider myself a jack of all trades but I could never master one. However, with nursing I'm able to engage in science, math, meaningful human interaction, critical thinking, and the list goes on. I'm also aware that nurses are not often given a pat on that back and a simple thank you for their hard work. And I'm okay with that, I would just love the change the world and express empathy in my own little way..one patient at a a time.
