hi guys... i'm new here.. i was surfing the net when i ran across this site.. anyways i need articles about student nurses' malpractice, negligence, and errors in their hospital duty... also it will help if you could refer me on opinions of staff nurses on student nurses and how they affect their workload.. to the nurses in this site you could also post your opinions about the performance and impact of nursing students during their hospital duty.. and could you please add where you're from or where you're working i'll be needing that for my bibliography and referrences.. thank you so much in advance... :nurse:

Not to derail your thread, but while I was in nursing school, with the exception of one medication error which was partly the fault of the instructor, there weren't any student errors that I ever heard about, because if there was any new procedure going on, the nurse or the instructor was right there watching.

students should be supervised enough not to work outside their scope of practice. Ive only hear of two incidents in my course and those stupids are just st**pid one was suctioning a baby unsuperivsed the other disconecting TPN both should have been kicked out of nursing but unfortunately werent.
