Nursing School

For years I wanted to go to school for nursing but I had to put it on hold because at the time my kids was small. Now they are older (16, 10, and 9), I am motivated more than ever to finally pursue my dream. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs at FSCJ here in jax but I heard it was quite competitive to enter the nursing program so I am thinking about going to Kaplan. Is there anyone who finish the program and can offer some insight?

    I currently go to Kaplan the program is great. The only thing I can recommend you do is get your pre-reqs done somewhere else for the amount of $$ Kaplan charges it's not worth it doing your pre-reqs through them GOOD LUCK!!

    Do the best you can in your prereqs, and see what you can do about getting into a public program. You can always apply to multiple programs and see what happens, but the less you can spend the better!
