I've been research various careers and had some questions about nursing. How hard is it to get a job in a doctor's office as opposed to a hosipital especially for new grads. (Seems like most the nurses on the board work in a hosipital.) What are the advantages/disadvantages of each?
Thank you for your help.

as an LPN i had an easier time getting a job in a doctors office than at the hospital after being a new grad. If you are a RN you might have an easier time getting a job in the hospital-of course it wouldn't be that hard getting a job in a doctors office for you either. Working in the doctors office is great- not to stressful. The only thing is that you might lose some of your skills that you would be able to keep up with if you worked in the hospital. That is what i am facing now that i'm returning to the hospital after a year of working in the doctors office-family practice.
whatever you get-best of luck:)
