Hello I'm a senior nursing student and for one of my classes we have to interview three nurses of different educational backgrounds. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone would care to take the time to answer this question. Feel free to elaborate as much as you like and please indicate your educational background (Associates degree, diploma degree, BSN, advanced practice), your general place of employment (acute, care, long term, etc.), and your current position. Thanks so much!
Question:
How adequately do you feel your educational program prepared you for practice related to the responsibilities of your current nursing position? Feel free to give examples :)

An interview is in person, not via email on this forum. In designing this assignment, I'll bet your instructors also want you to use you critical thinking skills and communication skills as it relates to finding your interviewees, introducing yourself, establishing rapport, etc. Hard to do that in cyberspace.
