what are some nursing programs?

I'm going to Arapahoe Community College and they have a waitlist about a mile long. Most of the community colleges that have ADN programs have a waitlist.

wow!I guess Im lucky I live where I am.Around here there are 4 programs, 3 with the lottery system.Every semester you must enter and you get picked.However, you must have a 3.0 in sciences.I couldnt stand going through 2 years of prereqs,then be put on a waiting list,then do a two year program...yikes!! :uhoh3:

Are you currently in the nursing program at ACC? If so, how long was your wait? I'm still taking care of some prereqs at ACC so I am curious to see how long the wait will be once I can apply to the nursing program.

You can probably get more information from the CCCS on-line since the state now has centralized selection for any of the community colleges in Colorado. :nurse: Some of the rural community colleges have less of a waiting list than the metro schools.
