Hi guys! Can anyone recommend the nursing program at UAM in Monticello? I'm getting my prereqs now and trying to decide where to go afterwards. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Hello, smack050505,:balloons:

Last I heard, UAM had lost accreditation.

Oh really? Do you know when this was? They didn't say anything about it on their website and if they have they definitely need to update it!

This has happened to them at least twice in the past several years. If they have new accreditation now, they just received this.

This is a good program, just a few problems in the past. I see their webpage is updated, so I am sure their program is accredited now. Maybe you should call and inquire???

I am currently attending UAM and they are accredited. The program is hard, but will have you well prepared. Their pass rate for last year thus far is 100%.

I'm also a student through UAM at the UAM College of Technology. I also know for a fact that they're accredited b/c i'm in the practical nursing program and have clinicals with the bachelors program students. its a wonderful program but it is hard, both of them. i also have a few classmates that switched from the bachelors program to the practical program and love it. so you can't go wrong either way.
