Nursing Program to transfer to from Baker College?
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what schools might take Baker College credits? I currently have all of my required pre-req's for their current nursing program. However, preparing for the chance that I do not make it in this year, I want to have another possible option.
Currently I have completed 59 credits:
AP I, AP II - 10 credits
Medical Terminology - 4 credits
Microbiology - 5 credits
Intro to Healthcare - 4 credits
General Psychology - 4 credits
Human Holistics/Nutrition - 4 credits
Pathophysiology - 4 credits
Comp I, Comp II - 8 credits
Elect Spreadsheets - 2 credits
Intro to Database Solutions - 2 credits
Algebra - 4 credits
Oral Communications - 4 credits
Workplace Communications - 4 credits
Their programs are very competitive and you are penalized for re-taking/transferring any classes so if you received a B+ in a SCI class, you are unable to retake it and with their programs being so competitive, a B+ is sometimes a major handicap. Even a program change can hinder your chances of getting into a competitive program. Needless to say, I received a B+ in a core science class.
If someone has any experience with transferring from Baker College, please let me know how the transfer went and what classes you may have had to retake? Thank you!
