Nursing program

Hello, everyone

Sorry I haven't on the form in while, but I have been in RN school in Ga. I have a question, last year I enrolled in the LPN to RN fast tract program and didn't pass that semster, so I went into the regular 2 year program where I only had to do one year, got to the end of semster to go into the last semster and fail the final and got a D. Is it ture if you fail 2 semsters you can't go back into another nursing program or do the online program in Ga? Have they stop the online nursing program in Ga? :o

Hi, lpntorn2be

Ga borad of nursing stop the online LPN TO RN program in GA, also, Ga don't except nurses that got there license online. If you go to Ga borad of nursing website you will see the law that went into effect July 2008 that stop online nursing.

Hi, MP17,

Yes, I heard that the GA Board of Nursing stopped Excelsior Colleges ADN Program in GA.

But, I didnt know that GA doesn't except nurses that get there license's from Online Nursing Programs too.

What a shame!

Oh well, I guess I can't go either route; I'll keep looking...
