Short of doing your assignment for you. Exactly what "information" about Nursing Information System report are you looking for. There are an infinite number of different reports. What exactly is it you are looking for???

for example, one systems can generate these reports:

-number of RNs by wards.

-number of nursing staff by sex and age.

-number of interventions that done by a nurse or groups of nurse or ward.

-reports on outcomes and diagnosis.

-comparison reports on number of nurse and beds or Patients.

-and fiscal reports and more.

I hope that my intetnt be clear.

I doubt it would be just one "system" that would generate the reports you listed. Also might not be a "NIS" per say

Example:

# of RNs by unit/floor would come from the Staffing System

# of nursing staff by sex and age - again from the Staffing System or from a module of the HR system

# of interventions initiated by a RN or group of RNs on a unit would come from the documentation system. The majority of today's documentation systems are not called "Nursing" systems as other clinicians (PTs, OTs, Unit Assistants, Nurses Aides, MSW, Case Managers, Physicians, Nurse Practioners, Dieticians, etc) use the same system to document in.

Reports on outcomes and diagnosis might be found in the documentation system and in Midas - or some other Quality Measures system. Comparison reports on number of nurses and beds might come from one or a combination of systems - Staffing, Decision Support, etc

Fiscal reports come from the Financial application or would be part of a BAR (Billing, Accounts Recievable) system

I hope that helps.
