Nursing Goals??

I just had my preformance appraisal at work and it went well. However, we are required to come up with 5 nursing goals and im just stumpped on the last 2! Just wondering if anyone has any SMART goals that would help me out. I currently work on a med/surg floor and love it. Any advice would be awesome!

What 3 did you come up with?

How much experience do you have and what are your career plans?

Get certified?

Be a preceptor?

Be a charge nurse?

Are there any specific aspects of care you would like to learn more about?

Are there any problems in the unit that you would like to try to help solve?

5 nursing goals??? Well, I hope your, you know, actual WORK doesn't get in the way of goal completion...

(Unless they're all done on your own unpaid time. I'm sure management would be fine with that.)

I recently had to come up with goals at a meeting as well. One of the ones I came up with was to make sure I communicate with my nurse within one hour of them coming onto their shift (I'm a CNA, so if you're a nurse, make sure to quickly communicate with your CNA). I had an experience where I didn't see my nurse until halfway through my shift, and it resulted in us going into one of our patient's rooms every hour during the night because we hadn't collaborated. Needless to say, we both got chewed out by the patient for disrupting their sleep so many times.
