The program I graduated from required the nursing entrance exam (NET). I know that other schools take the hesi entrance exam, and some do not require any entrance exams. It really depends on where you are going to apply.

Hope this helps, Good Luck!

Depends on the school. Some do ask for the NLN exam, others have different names for their entry exams. There are the ones that just have a basic college entry exam (the school I went to had that), and then, a certain GPA to enter into the nursing program. I would consider purchasing an NLN book geared towards the branch of nursing (LPN or RN) program and begin studying from it in case the school you are interested in does, in fact have an entrance exam. Good luck.

I would contact the college of nursing at the school. They can tell you what, if any, entrance tests you will have to take.
