Glad your suspicions were the same as mine. Unfortunately "BOB" is going around the other posting site (You know, the Y---- one!) posing as a satisfied student, advertising their 'boot camp'. Some things never change! :angryfire There ought to be a law! Mind you, if this one is run like the Excel Advantage, it won't be long for the world either.
Re: Nursing Concepts Advantage
I just received an email from Ray Shunk of NCA in Utah. He assures me that NCA had nothing to do with Excel Advantage or Academy of Nursing. I don't think my feelings about this will change, despite his email, however, I felt it only fair to pass this information along.

Just found out something interesting I thought I'd pass along. On some other distance learning RN study sites (you probably know which ones I mean) there have been some posts recently about "Nursing Concepts Advantage", a tutorial company that sells Nursing concepts prep materials, as well as offering a CPNE preparation course. I followed the link provided by a "satisfied student" (yeah, sure!) to the Nursing Concepts Advantage website. Their mailing address was a post office box in Long Beach California. Because I am suspicious by nature, I emailed them to find out where their CPNE classes were held. Their reply email was basically just an ad for their classes, so I emailed again, stressing that I wanted to know where their classes were physically located. Guess where, folks? Salt Lake City! Not Long Beach, California as their address indicates. Since most of us have heard of the legal and financial problems of a former company which used to provide the very same service in Salt Lake City, it makes one wonder....same people, different name???? Hmmm. Just a heads up on this one. Do your homework before signing on the dotted line....check out some of the old threads here and you'll see what I am referring too!
