I would like to know if their is anyone out there that has the books for the nursing classes that they wouldn't mine loaning out or even selling to me for a reasonable price .
I am going back to school to get my nurses degree an I'm paying for it all on my own an I have found out that its very costly an I just don't think that I will have enough money to go around.
An to I work a 12 hour shift so I would like to take my classes via the internet so that I can be here with my children because I can't afford a babysitter at this time .
If you can help me please let me know at this e-mail address below .
An also are all the nursing books the same, or does it differer from state to state, the reason for that is I live in the state of Texas that is why I'm asking.
[email protected] is where you can send your e-mails.
Thanks

Nursing books are all different, however the content will be very similar, it's just how it is presented. The books you will NEED will be determined by what school you ultimately choose, the state has no bearing on this, it is the school. If you are just looking for a general nursing knowledge before you even go to a nursing school, then I would suggest looking for a general nursing text with a clinical companion that is no more than 3 years old from publishing date (most medical texts are updated every 2-3 years). I have found that the best prices other than a personal friend are on Ebay, and that is where I sold all of my nursing books in one BIG lot. Sometimes you can go to your local junior college bookstore and find a used one that is no longer on the schools active text list. Please keep in mind that when you actually go to nursing school they will require you to have exactly the book they recommend, and IMHO this is the best way to go, many questions on tests in my program came straight from the study guide companions to the texts.

ok thanks for the information on the books
