Every president that FILIPINO people has elected for the past, what 50 years? failed their TRUST..everyone promised a better COUNTRY.. but NO ONE has given that to us up to now..PROMISES are not enough..These candidates.. all of them have been in the position to make a CHANGE.. but only GORDON made the huge difference.. and HE CAN DO MORE..if we only let him WIN THIS FIGHT..this is not FOR HIM..this is FOR ALL OF US.

He prioritize HEALTH and is passionate in GIVING JOBS.. he already made that not only in SUBIC but in all parts of the Philippines by promoting TOURISM.. He believes in PEOPLE EMPOWERMENT.. and I greatly appreciate his trust on his countrymen..

When he was asked in one of his interviews "what it is you want for the country?"

he answered. "I want to see this country have the RESPECT that it should HAVE" - now that is a real LEADER.

To you Mr. Dick Gordon, I Salute you and I support you all the way..

yeah.. making huge transformation can the lead factor to be Qaulified as pres.. but it is important also to remember a law abiding citizen to a model on his or her people.. to be a good leader is the one who follow the rules... we cannot say it already that gordon will be a good leader coz we cannot see the future... hope you understand...

we never see the future... GORDON has already proven that he can do a huge part in improving the current situation of the Philippines.. He touched subic.. and then the RED cross... and tourism after.. wow philippines has created thousands of Jobs for filipinos..you see... HE is the only one who made the biggest development among all candidates.. and he can do more...should we elect him in that position... and let us not forget.. HE FOUGHT for a clean election by pushing though this Automated Voting System that the Philippines will experience this coming election..

Filipino Nurses will benefit a lot in terms of Job oppurtunities and salary increase should GORDON wins.. that is included in his Platform.. :)

In my opinion, Gordon or Gibo are the only two feasible choices in the presidential lineup. The others are just..bleeehhh..

Anyway, this topic isn't even related to nursing, there are other more appropriate sites for this.

about this post.. I just want to share. I believe nurses like us should play an important role in electing the RIGHT man for the position..

Our number is large enough to influence people and make a change in this country.. I think it is time for us to act unless we still want to endure the nurses' sufferings here in the Philippines for the coming years..

I am tired of how nurses are treated here in our country, it's unduly unfair.

that's why most of us leave the country and search for a greener pasture abroad. BUT.. what if the nurses will need not to leave because we are given the benefits we truly deserve?

We deserve better and we deserve a leader who will not only uplift our profession but will give voice to us as well.

Gordon is relevant to nursing because of his overall provisions for job enhancement nationwide. His ideals would create more opportunities in healthcare as well as other sectors.

Since his goal is to stamp out unemployment and under-employment and more than half of the licensed nurses in the Philippines are unemployed I'd say it is of distinct importance to Pinoy nurses to listen to his position.

If I could vote here I would vote for Gordon.

Gibo is a part of the current administration. If you want another term of GMA then vote for Gibo or Villiar.

I just pray whoever wins in this election to lead our country, that he will build hospitals, create jobs for Filipino nurses and help us to go abroad. Isn't that what we all want?

The NARS program was a good publicity stunt. I hope the next president takes the program and fully implements it as an effective solution to both employing nurses and providing healthcare to provincial areas where it is sorely lacking.
