nurses for the morgue?

Hi! This question is for my husband who is debating between a career in nursing and mortuary science (very different fields, I know!) Are there nurses that work in the morgue or assist in such a setting? If so, what is the career term? Thank you in advance.

I've not met a nurse who exclusively works in the morgue, but some do work with coroners, medical examiners, etc.

Have your husband check out the Forensic Nursing forum. He might be able to determine if a career as forensic nurse is something he would consider.
