Hello. I'm planning to go university this year and study adult nursing but I have stammer (stutter) which is really bad. I have spoken to a lot career adviser who told me it will be hard for me as nurse but I really want to become a nurse. Is anyone here is a nurse who stutter. can you please give me any advice

We have classmates with such a heavy accent you have to really and carefully listen to anything they say; and sometimes ask them to repeat what they said. I don't see a difference between that and someone who stutters. Don't let stuttering become an obstacle for your dream. Go for it.

I don't see why it would prevent you from being a nurse. My husband stutters and while he is currently a stay at home Dad, he has worked in a variety of fields. Sure sometimes it has been difficult, but your career goals are up to you.
