Nurse Intern Program - United Hosp Systems Kenosha

Just wondering if any of you are in United Hospital System/St. Catherine's student nurse intern program? I just finished my first semester in the RN program at CLC and I've spoken already with Human Resources. It certainly sounds appealing. Any thoughts?

I was an SNI at the KMH campus. I just graduated and am waiting to take my boards. I gained so much from being a SNI and precepting in CCU while in my 4th semester .I highly recommend it.

I went for an interview with HR and the nurse manager was present from the Cardiac Step down unit. Basically, my duties will be taking vital signs and doing morning care for about 5 patients (day shift). If anything cool is going on, they'll grab me to observe or perform (urinary catheters, wound dressing, etc) under eye of an RN. I am so eager for this opportunity! They are verifying my references and, hopefully, I should hear from them soon! :flwrhrts:
