Does anyone have any suggestions on landing an online nurse educator job with no teaching experience. I graduated with my Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in nursing education this past January. All of the nurse educator jobs available require previous teaching experience. Doesn't really seem fair.

Maybe you can start out with getting experience teaching at an oncampus college first.
Thanks for your reply. Yes I am currently applying for on campus colleges as well. Unfortunately, in Mobile AL these colleges are requiring previous teaching experience and a doctorate degree. My question is how can I get experience if I'm never given a chance to teach. I am in the process of applying for DNP programs. However, I don't want to get another degree and still not get hired.

It's not fair that you were not hired for a job you are not qualified for ! I should go apply for a dermatologist job,med school is optional .

Teach anything to get started. CPR. CNA classes, LPN classes. It may be one class at a time to start. Sounds like you should figure out how to get teaching experience before getting your DNP. Best wishes.
