Nur 310 Testing Out

I have started Nurs 310 and want to test out. Any suggestions for studying?

The Evolve site associated with the Jarvis book has a ton of quizes - do those. Also, if you have the lab book - there are quizes after each lab section. That is what I used. Good luck!

I don't have the lab book Should I go get it or just use the quizzes from the Jarvis book?

I used the quizzes from the jarvis book. 89% was my test out score.

I wouldn't go out and buy the lab book - I bought if before I knew about the test out option. I also scored an 89% - and took it!

One more question...Does the quiz cover the whole book or just the chapters located on the syllabus or should I do all 30 quizzes in the javis book?

quizes are for individual chapters - if you are pretty solid on some areas, I would just skim the book and worry about areas you are not so sure of. I didn't review cardiac or respiratory. Brief on neuro - and then hit the other areas that I don't deal with often ..

I have specialized in peri-operative nursing which means I have NOTHING to do with maternity, or pedicatric nursing. The test was hard, and stressful. I glanced over the book and had it and other resouces available. Passed with a B. Good luck.
