NRP Classes

Hey everyone, I need your help with a problem.

I worked in L&D for 4.5 yrs and then have been doing Home Health for 8 months. I am going to go do some travel nursing and the majority of the positions are in L&D. The problem is I let my NRP expire (I know... I'm bad:sniff: ) and the travel company wants me to find somewhere to renew it. My old L&D won't let me take a class there since I am not an employee anymore. Any suggestions? (I am in South Carolina) Thanks!

check online, they have acls cert online at certain companies, i'm suprised the travel company doesn't have a way to hook you up with nrp class:coollook:

I took NRP at The Farm in Tennessee. I think they offer it a few times a year. Their website The Farm would have more details.

The American Academy of Pediatrics website gives a search option of all the NRP provider classes offered. American Academy of Pediatrics Web Site - and follow the links. On the Left hand side, near bottom under professional resources. Select NRP and then hit the NRP link and chose find a course from the left menu. (Tried to get the link, but I cannot post it :( )

I took it this past April and (although largely instructor dependent) was one of the BEST classes I have taken in 15 YEARS!

Good Luck.
