Hello i´m from Spain and an agency has offer me a chance to work in O.R. in England. A have not any experience working in O.R but i did a master of one year in this area. Now, i lookinf for the same notes, information, but in english. I could translate my notes but it´s not the same. Can somobody help me with notes or links, where describe the main duties of nursing at O.R., tasks, materials, machines, and the habitual vocabulary used?
Actually what i need is sentences witch describe main actions of a nurse in OR

Can't help you much, but I know they tend to call the OR the, "operating theatre," not "operating room."

There are two nursing roles in an OR. Scrub and Circulator.
The roles are different.
Scrub is the nurse who is scrubbed to be the instrument passer. They set up the sterile fields, do the count, pass the instruments, do the count, tear down the fields post op.
Circulator isn't scrubbed. They monitor the sterile field to ensure it is maintained. Record details of the procedure, note which items are used in the field, assist in the count process both times. Pour/dispense meds to the sterile field. Assist in preparing the patient. Assist in teardown. Take and pass messages from outside the room
Those are the baiscs that I can remember.
