Not competitive enough

Hello everyone!

I am heading into my senior year of high school, and Azusa Pacific has been my dream school for nursing. I have worked extremely hard all throughout high school, and I've been wanting to get into their direct admission nursing program for a long time. However, I didn't do as good as I hoped on my SAT. I got a 1160, which is the equivalent to a 1610. I have a 4.05 GPA, am extremely involved in extra curriculars, and will probably have good letters of recommendation. I am trying to improve my SAT score by 100 but that might be unrealistic. Does anyone know if I would be competitive enough for Azusa's program or even competitive enough for any other direct admission programs?

Only a representative of the program can give you a good answer to that question. Call them and ask.

Good luck!

Usually you can find "class statistics" from previous classes on their website. If there is no information like that, the best thing to do would be to call the School of Nursing, or see if you can meet with an advisor.

I did however find this information: Admission - Nursing Major - Azusa Pacific University

I hope that this is helpful for you. Good luck!
