Hello everyone I just received a letter from the nursing school from Lawrence Memorial Hospital school of nursing saying I was not excepted according to my academics I did go through some hardships and I worked so hard to reach and come this far. I'm yet to do a petition to the admissions committee . Do you think I can still succeed and get accepted . Should I ask even what I can do next to better the grades in micro from C to A or retake it. I don't want to give this up . I hope I can find anyone with a good advice in this field . Thank you .

A good rule is to not put all your eggs in one basket- apply to multiple schools.
Thank you for your quick response.

I would also consider retaking the courses you did not do as well in. It does not hurt you to put in a petition. Apply to multiple schools like meanmaryjean said and check their requirements closely. Some may accept multiple attempts of a course and others only accept the first grade. If this is what you really want to do then make it happen. You'll face closed doors throughout life and it may take some time to find one that gets you to where you want to go. Best wishes.
