Northeastern DE Nursing program

Published

Hi all,

I just got the call that I was selected for an interview! Has anyone else heard anything? And to those who also applied, where else are you looking?

I've applied for the FNP at Simmons, MGH, and BC as well.

Good luck to everyone!

Is there anyone out there that is currently in the Hybrid program at Northeastern? If so how would you rate the program? Trying to decide if I'm going to apply.

Hi Itcwall.

I'm also wondering if I will be applying to the hybrid program. It doesn't seem like a terrible idea, but I am worried that I would lose out on networking with classmates. I know nursing students usually are highly supportive of one another and really bond while going through nursing school. If it's the only program I end up getting into then I will definitely go, but I am a little worried about missing out on friendships ya know?

Ya I was thinking the same thing but when I talked with some faculty they said that you will meet people in lab and that the students than form study groups.

That doesn't sound too bad then. If anything I would still be glad to get in just so I have that option. I'm wondering if the tuition is less expensive and if it's "easier" to get into than the regular version. Are you applying for fall '13?

I was accepted into fall 2012. The tuition is 55,000 for the first 16 months undergraduate portion

Best of luck with your interview and ultimate choice of schools. Talk to people at each school, as there are very different DE philosophies between the schools you applied to, as well as different clinical placement opportunities.

How did your interview go . did you hear back yet
